Yellowstone Meadows Cutoff Trail is a 2.4-mile out-and-back moderately trafficked trail on the Yellowstone River and Thorofare Creek in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. With an elevation gain of only 9 feet, the Yellowstone Meadows Cutoff Trail is rated easy, and is suitable for the entire family, kids included. However, dogs are not allowed on the trail. The Yellowstone Meadows Cutoff Trail is home to beautiful views of rivers/creeks, wildflowers, open meadows, and wildlife, and ends at the southwest corner of the spectacular Bridger Lake. This trail is best used any time of the day in summer, spring and fall, for hiking, bird watching, and nature walks. Hikers should bring their own fresh drinking water.
