The Waterline Trail is a 3.3-mile, out-and-back, heavily trafficked trail located in Forest Park, Oregon. The trail has an elevation gain of 843 feet and is rated moderate in terms of difficulty. The trail features beautiful scenery of forest, wildflowers, and wildlife. Waterline route has a steep surface and is frequently muddy hence unsuitable for wheelchair users. The path offers activity options such as hiking, running, and trail walking. The route is kid-friendly and dogs are allowed on leash. Waterline Trail is best accessed between March to October. Hikers carry water bottles for a water refill at Skyline Tavern.
