The Washington Park Trail is a 2.3-mile, loop trail located in Washington Park near Anacortes. A heavily trafficked trail, the Washington Park Trail is best used for hiking, mountain biking, bird viewing, nature walks, running and walking year-round. Cherries, firs, cedar, ferns, shrubs, and lilies are commonly seen along the trail. Herons fill, robins, ravens, deer, crows, and eagles are also commonly spotted. From the highest sections of the Washington Park trail, hikers will get to enjoy immersive views of Mount Erie, Burrows island and Rosario Beach.
