Situated within the Mount Rainier National Park near Paradise Inn, the Nisqually Vista Trail is a short 0.84-mile, loop trail that is rated easy. Mostly used for snowshoeing, hiking, walking and nature trips, the Nisqually Vista trail is a seasonal trail that is best used from June to October. While hiking along the Nisqually Vista Trail, hikers may encounter marmots and the occasional curious mountain goats from time to time. From the highest sections of the Nisqually Vista Trail, hikers will get to enjoy scenic views of Mount Rainier, the distant and wide Nisqually River Valley, and the vast Nisqually Glacier. It is important to point out that dogs are not allowed on the Nisqually Vista Trail. Hikers should always carry water when visiting the trail. A National Park Pass is required to access the Nisqually Vista Trail.
