Nestled in the larger North Cascades National Park, the Chelan Lakeshow Trail is a 17-mile point-to-point trail that offers hikers beautiful vistas including an outstanding backcountry backdrop. A seasonal trail, the Lakeshore Trail is best used from April to October. Because of its strenuous terrain, the Lake Chelan Lakeshow trail is not suitable for children and inexperienced hikers. While dogs are allowed on the Lakeshore Trail they should be kept on a leash at all times. A variety of indigenous wild animals including black bears, doe, bats and rattlesnakes can be found on this trail. Camping is allowed on this trail. Hikers may carry water with them though they will be able to refill from the streams.
