Dry Creek Trail #872 in the Olympic National Forest is a 6-mile, lightly trafficked, out-and-back trail. The route is just right for a leisure hike with family especially kids and walking dogs on leash. Dry Creek trail #872 is accessible from April until November. Running through the trail is the pristine creek, elks, admiring the lush forest, as the soothing breeze blows bringing with it a cooling effect to beat down the summer heat. Being a less visited area, the Dry Creek trail #872 is quite chilled for a weekend morning walk, jog, and hike. Dry Creek route #872 has an elevation gain of 800 feet and is rated moderate by hikers. Remember to carry water.
