Copper Creek Trail #876 in the Olympic National Forest is a 5-mile, moderately trafficked, out-and-back trail. As the name dictates, the Copper Creek trail #876 is named after a mining activity that used to take place here in the early years. The incredibly beautiful features at Copper Creek #876 range from the copper mines, roaring streams, old-growth forest, snow, wildlife including bears and squirrels. Physical activities suitable at Copper Creek trail are hiking, snowshoeing, nature trips, and photography. The path is kid-friendly, and dogs are allowed on leash. Wheelchair users are not allowed due to the mines. Plan to hike the Copper Creek trail #876 from May until October. Remember to bring plenty of drinking water for the hike.
