The Chenuis Falls Trail is a 7.6-mile, out-and-back trail located within the Mount Rainier National Park near Buckley. A moderately trafficked trail, the Chenuis Falls Trail is mostly used for hiking, walking, nature trips and bird viewing. Since this is a seasonal trail, the Chenuis Falls Trail is best used from June to November. Salal berries and bunch berries are quite common along the Chenuis Falls Trail. From the highest sections of the Chenuis Falls Trail, hikers will get to enjoy scenic views of the meandering Carbon River, the Ipsut Creek, Chenuis Falls and the colossal Mount Rainier. It is important to point out that dogs are not allowed on the Chenuis Falls Trail. Hikers should always carry plenty of drinking water when visiting the Chenuis Falls Trail. To access the trail, hikers will have to obtain a National Park Pass.
