The Carbon River Rain Forest Trail is a 0.5-mile loop trail located within the Mount Rainier National Park near Buckley. A nature lovers paradise, the Carbon River Rain Forest Nature Trail is mostly used for hiking, nature walks, walking, bird viewing and running. Being a seasonal trail, the Carbon River Rain Forest Nature Trail is best used from May to October. Cedar trees and alpines are quite common on the Carbon Rain Forest Nature trails. Hikers will get to enjoy scenic views of the Carbon River and Mount Rainier. Dogs are not allowed on the trail. It is important to point out that hikers need to carry plenty of drinking water when hiking. To access the Carbon River Rain Forest Trail, hikers will have to obtain a National Park Pass.
