Located near the remote community of Stehekin, Washington, the Agnes Gorge Trail is about 4.4 miles long, moderately steep, and features massive old-growth cedars, waterfall overlooks and a photogenic gorge. Exotic wildflowers such as tiger lilies, chocolate lilies, and huckleberries are also available on the Agnes Gorge Trail. Bears can occasionally be spotted on the trail. An out-and-back trail, the Agnes Gorge Trail is the perfect destination for families and is best used from June to October. Dogs are allowed on the trail; however, they should always be on a leash. Unfortunately, drinking water is not available along this trail, so hikers should ensure that they carry plenty of water. To access the trailhead, hikers should take a bus after arriving from the ferry at Lake Chelan.
