The Terrace Springs Trail is short 0.186-mile isolated loop trail that is rated easy with an elevation gain of just 9 feet. The Terrace Spring Trail is located near Madison Campground in Yellowstone. This trail is super family friendly and is wheelchair accessible since has a boardwalk surface, but be sure to remain on the boardwalk at all times. The Terrace Springs Trail is mainly used for hiking which takes about half an hour. The trail offers interesting views of several colorful hot springs any time of the day and is best used in summer, spring and fall. There is a generous parking space at the Terrace Spring Trail trailhead, but with no fresh drinking water. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.
