Located near Bar Harbor, Maine, Schiff Path is a well-marked, 3.12-mile, moderately trafficked, out-and-back trail that twists and turns to the top of Dorr Mountain. With an elevation gain of 1,187 feet, this path tends to be rocky and is rated advanced hence, not child friendly. However, Dogs on leash are allowed on the Schiff Path. The Schiff Path is available any time of the day year-round for hiking, nature trips, bird watching, and running. The path features beautiful wildflowers and stellar views with every step up Mount Dorr. Bring a camera, enough drinking water and enjoy experiencing the Schiff Path.
