Riddle Lake Trail is a 5-mile, moderately trafficked, out-and-back trail located near Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. With an elevation gain of 100 feet, this kid-friendly trail is accessible all day long preferably in summer and fall. However, the Riddle Lake Trail closes to the public between 13th April and July 14th each year for bear management. This trail is used for nature trips, hiking, running and walking. The Riddle Lake Trail affords stunning views of wildlife, long grassy meadows, pine forest and, of course, Riddle Lake complete with a small beach at the end of the trail. There is enough parking space at the trailhead, but no fresh drinking water. Pets are not allowed on the trail. Remember to carry bear spray.
