The Rattlesnake Dance Ridge Trail is a 1.74-mile, out-and-back trail located near Yakima Canyon, Central Washington. A lightly trafficked trail, the Rattlesnake Dance Ridge Trail is best used for hiking, walking, running and nature walks. The Rattlesnake Dance Ridge Trail can be accessed throughout the year. Yellow balsamroots and lupines dominate a bigger section of the Rattlesnake Dance Ridge Trail. From the highest point of the Rattlesnake Dance Ridge Trail, hikers will get scenic views of Mount Rainer, Yakima river, Chester Morse Lake, Mount Washington, and the Cedar River watershed. Hikers may spot some white-throated swifts and turkey vultures along the Rattlesnake Dance Ridge Trail from time to time. It is important to point out that dogs are not allowed on the Rattlesnake Dance Ridge Trail. Hikers should also remember to carry water when visiting the trail.
