Overlook Trail is a heavily trafficked, 4.6-mile, out-and-back trail, which can be covered in two to three hours. It is rated moderate to difficult in terms of difficulty, with an elevation gain of 1,397 feet. Overlook Trail features beautiful wildflowers, wildlife, and the serenity of the forest. It is ideal for use from March till December. Apart from hiking, one can engage in bird watching, nature trips, walking, snowshoeing, and running. Leashed dogs are allowed. Overlook Trail is family-friendly, however, small kids may experience some difficulties navigating the steep sections. Parking, restrooms, and drinking water are available.
