The Nyack Creek Trail is a lightly trafficked loop trail used for camping, hiking, nature trips, and bird watching. The 19-mile trail has a mixed surface, most of which is rocky, and an elevation gain of 3,927 feet. The Nyack Creek Trail is rated strenuous in terms of difficulty making it unfriendly to kids. Dogs are not permitted on this trail. The most notable aspects of the trail are forest and a river. Warblers and vesper sparrow are the most popular birds, while larger common animals include moose and deer. Flowers like arnica and thimbleberries are also scattered on the trail.The Nyack Creek Trail is accessible all year round.
