The Numa Ridge Trail is an 11.6-mile, lightly trafficked, out-and-back trail used for hiking, camping, and nature trips. The trail includes a mixed surface and sports an elevation gain of 3,021 feet, providing it with a strenuous rating in terms of difficulty. This trail is not kid-friendly, and dogs are not permitted. Numa Ridge is endowed with a beautiful lake and a forest, as well as wildlife such as squirrels, chipmunks, mountain goats and black bears. For this reason, users of Numa Ridge Trail are advised to carry a bear spray. Warblers are the most popular birds on Numa Ridge Trail. There are no restrooms or drinking water points on the trails so hikers ought to carry their own water. The Numa Ridge Trail is accessible all year.
