The North Loop Trail is a point-to-point 10.6-mile strenuous trail, moderately trafficked with an elevation gain of 4,500 feet. Running the trail is accessible year round, where hiking begins at Deer Creek Road exposing the beautiful view of the Sheep Ranges, the Kabib plateau, the Grand wash, fossils on rocks and running springs. Due to the high elevation, narrow steep ledges and desert conditions the North Loop Trail is not suitable for children and pets. Water is available mid-way of the trail at the Care Spring, however it is advisable to filter since its quality is unknown.
