Located within the Mountain Rainer National Park Washington, the Moraine Trail is a 2.2-mile, out-and-back trail. The Moraine Trail is mostly used for hiking, walking, bird watching and trail running. At the highest sections of the Moraine Trail, hikers will get to enjoy incredible views of the magnificent Nisqually River Valley. Sedges and asters dominate a bigger section of the trail. Dogs are not allowed on the Moraine Trail. Hikers will have to obtain a National Park Pass before accessing the Moraine Trail. While hikers may obtain drinking water from nearby streams, they should remember to treat the water first before drinking.
