Located in New Jersey, the Monument trail is a 3.5-mile loop track route that is heavily trafficked. The trail is one of the most interesting trails of High State Park featuring the Delaware River, wildlife, Lake Marcia winding through beautiful woods and streams to the high point monument. The Monument Trail involves many activities of hiking, walking, and running, camping and swimming at Lake Marcia. At an elevation of 515 feet and a rocky surface the track is rated moderate. The trail is beginner friendly hence suitable for kids and pets on leash but not using wheelchair. Monument Trail is accessible year round but best for trail between April and November.
