Lower Geyser Basin Trail is a short, 0.3-mile loop trail, best used between May and September. The trail is rated as easy in terms of navigation due to its elevation gain of 35 feet. Hikers get to enjoy the lovely view of the lake, waterfalls, beautiful cascades, wildlife, and the serenity of the forest. Lower Geyser Basin Trail is heavily trafficked and could take about half an hour to cover the trail, and no dogs are allowed. Rock climbing, hiking, fishing, trekking, and camping are some of the activities that people take part in. It's a family-friendly trail, and your kids will enjoy the beautiful scenery, however, getting parking may be a hassle. Restrooms are available, but you might have to carry your drinking water.
