Located near Bellevue, the Klondike Swamp Trail is a 2.5-mile, out-and-back trail. Rated easy, the Klondike Swamp Trail is suitable for hiking, walking, nature trips, bird watching and is accessible all year round. Because of its gradual terrain, the Klondike Swamp Trail is suitable for families with children. Indigenous trees and plants such as western hemlock, Douglas firs, vine maples, silver firs and alders dominate a bigger section of the Klondike Swamp Trail. While dogs are allowed on the trail, they should always be kept leashed. Hikers may obtain water from nearby streams; however, they should remember to treat the water. Due to its slippery and muddy terrain, bicycles are not recommended on the Klondike Trail.
