Jordan Pond Nature Trail is 3.6-mile, heavily trafficked, loop trail located near Seal Harbor, Maine. This trail is used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching. It is accessible any time of the day and best used from May until September. With an elevation gain of just 32 feet, the Jordan Pond Nature Trail is rated easy and kid-friendly. Dogs are allowed on the trail provided they are kept on leash. This level walk showcases some of the finest scenery in Acadia National Park, including spectacular views of the Bubble Mountains, Jordan Lake which is Acadia’s deepest and clearest lake, and forest. Additionally, washrooms are available at the parking lot and along the trail at the Jordan Pond House and Tea Lawn.
