A challenging hike brimming with breathtaking sights at every step, the 7.2-mile Hamilton Mountain Trail is a heavily trafficked loop trail. Located within the larger Beacon Rock State Park, the Hamilton Mountain Trail is accessible all year round and is ideal for hiking, biking, and nature trips. Dogs are allowed on this trail; however, they should be leased. The Hamilton Mountain Trail offers scenic views, wooden views, and side trails, with the side trails providing the best viewpoints. Hikers should remember to stop by the breathtaking pool at the waterfall. To access the Hamilton Mountain Trail, a WA Discover Pass is required. The Hamilton Mountain Trail is highly recommended for only those who are experienced hikers since it involves ascending over rock faces that have steep drop-offs.
