The Greenwater Trail is a 12-mile, out-and-back trail located within the Mount Rainier National Park near Enumclaw. A heavily trafficked trail, the Greenwater Trail to Lost Lakes Trail is rated easy and is mainly used for hiking, horseback riding, nature walks and bird viewing. Being a seasonal trail, the Greenwater Trail to Lost Lakes is best used from March to December. Huckleberries and cherries dominate a bigger section of the trail. From the highest sections of the trail, hikers will get aerial views of the Greenwater Lake and Norse Peak Wilderness boundary. Dogs are not permitted on the trail. It is important to carry plenty of drinking water when hiking on the Greenwater Trail to Lost Lakes Trail. To access the Greenwater Trail to Lost Lakes Trail, hikers will have to obtain a Northwest Forest Pass.
