Green Mountain-Wildcat Trail is an 8.2-mile, heavily trafficked, out-and-back trail. The route is a long, solid walk in the woods that features commanding views of in Forest Park with green dense forest, wildflowers, woodpeckers, and a river. The path is primarily used for mountain biking, horse riding, nature trips, and hiking activities. Green Mountain-Wildcat is accessible from March until November. The trail is kid-friendly, wheelchairs are allowed and dogs must be kept on leash. Green Mountain-Wildcat has an elevation gain of 1,561 and is rated as difficult. Remember to carry drinking water.
