Great Meadow Loop Trail is a well-marked, 1.8-mile, lightly trafficked, loop trail located near Bar Harbor, Maine. The Great Meadow Loop Trail is well maintained with a dirt, gravel and crushed stone surface. With an elevation gain of only 95 feet, this trail is rated easy and is suitable for the entire family, including kids and dogs on leash. The Great Meadow Loop Trail is accessible for use any time of the day preferably from March until November, and is used for walking, trail running, bird watching, and hiking. The trail rewards hikers with scenic forest setting.
