The Glacier Basin Loop Trail is an 11.5-mile, out-and-back trail, bordering Paradise Inn, Washington. A multi-use trail, the Glacier Basin Loop Trail is used for hiking, camping, skiing, and nature walk. Being a seasonal trail, the Glacier Basin Loop Trail is best used from March to October. The Glacier Basin Loop Trail offers hikers incredible up-close views of the distant and tall Mt. Rainier and the faraway snowy, Emmons Glaciers. On top of that, the trail also offers hikers panoramic views of a lake. Dogs are not allowed on the Glacier Basin Loop trail. Potable water is available along the trail; however, hikers should remember to treat the water first before consumption. A National Park pass is required to gain access to the trail.
