Gable Pass Trail is a 6.1-mile long, point-to-point, moderately trafficked trail located in Whitefish, Glacier National Park, Montana. This trail, rated advanced, is steep up and steep down with an elevation gain of 2,965 feet, hence not kid and dog friendly. The Gable Pass Trail is primarily used for bird watching, hiking, and trail walking. The trail passes an incredible alpine section with epic views of flower meadows, lakes, rivers, mountains, and wildlife. The Gable Pass Trail is accessible any time of the day all year long, and with a trail hike time of about 4-5 hours. Be sure to bring enough fresh drinking water.
