Flume Slide Trail is a moderately trafficked 7.2-miles intermediate-level trail, due to its elevation of 3,678 feet. It takes 6 to 7 hours to hike the out-and-back trail. Hikers on this trail get to enjoy the view of a river, watch birds from the forest, view the beautiful Mount Flume and Mount Liberty, enjoy the magnificent view of wildflowers and wildlife, hike on rocks and enjoy the coolness of the woods. Besides hiking, there are other activities like nature trips, skiing on the snow, and nature walks. Hikers are allowed to bring their dogs as long as they are on a leash, but Flume Slide Trail is not kid-friendly. Flume Slide Trail is accessible throughout the year.
