Firelane 8 trail is a 0.4-mile point-to-point firelane track that is less trafficked with an elevation gain of 30 feet. The track is only used by foot with no bicycles and wheelchairs allowed. Firelane 8 trail is one of the shortest tracks featured in Forest Park in Portland, Oregon. It features green dense forest, slugs, and piggyback plants. The path is suitable for walking and hiking activities throughout the year. Firelane 8 trail is kid-friendly, but dogs are not allowed. Remember to carry water on this trail when you visit. The hike can be completed in 45 minutes with a few camera stops.
