The Edds Mountain Trail is an 11.1-mile, loop trail located in Eastern Washington near Okanogan Highlands. An all-year-round trail, the Edds Mountain Trail is mostly used for hiking, running, walking and bird viewing. Larch and pines are quite common along the trail, and from the highest sections of the Edds Mountain Trail, hikers will be rewarded with scenic views of the Kettle River Valley, the Bald Mountain, and the Kettle Crest peaks. While dogs are allowed on the trail, they should always be on a leash. Early in the season, springs will provide drinking water, however, when the temperatures begin to rise, access to water will be limited. Hence, hikers should always carry their own water when visiting the mountain.
