Day Mountain Trail, is a 2.6-mile, lightly trafficked, out-and-back trail located near Seal Harbor, Maine. This trail has a mixed surface, and features beautiful wild flowers. It is accessible for use any time of the day year-round. The Day Mountain Trail is used for hiking, nature trips, walking, bird watching and running. Hiking time on the trail is approximately an hour. With an elevation gain of 564 feet, the Day Mountain Trail is rated intermediate, and is suitable for the entire family, kids included. Dogs on leash are also allowed on the trail. Bring water, sunglasses and a camera.
