Deer Park to Maiden Peak 7-mile, moderately trafficked, out-and-back trail. It connects the summit Maiden Peak to the park area. This route is one of the best in spotting gorgeous views of a great forest, wildflowers, wildlife, mushrooms and clouds cascading down nearby mountains. These incredible features make Deer Park to Maiden Peak preferred for camping, walking, hiking, and nature trips. The best time to visit the trail is from April to September. Sadly, dogs are not allowed on this trail. Deer Park to Maiden Peak path is ranked as a moderate hike with an elevation gain of 1,692 feet. Remember to carry drinking water and a good jacket. Deer Park to Maiden Peak is kids-friendly and wheelchair accessible although it requires a lot of energy to hike.
