Located in the Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park near Bellevue, Washington, the De Leo Wall Trail is a 4.2-mile, loop trail. A heavily-trafficked multi-use trail, the De Leo Wall trail is mostly used for hiking, walking, and running and is accessible all year round. A variety of indigenous plant species such as Douglas firs, salmonberries, alder and maple dominate a bigger section of the De Leo Wall Trail. Birds such as eagles can be spotted on the De Leo Wall Trail from time to time. On a clear day, hikers will get to enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Rainier on the highest sections of the De Leo Wall Trail. While dogs are allowed on the trail, they should always be kept on leash. It is important to point out that camping is not allowed on the De Leo Wall Trail. Due to the proximity to nearby mines, hikers should avoid obtaining water from natural sources. Picnic tables and restrooms are available at the trailhead.
