The Cracker Flats Horse Trail is a kid-friendly, moderately trafficked, point-to-point trail used for hiking, bird watching and nature walks. The 1.1-mile long trail has a mixed surface and en elevation gain of 1,400 feet, resulting in it being rated intermediate in terms of difficulty. The Cracker Flats Horse Trail has no restrooms and its users ought to carry their own drinking water. Dogs are not permitted on this trail. The Cracker Flats Horse Trail is endowed with a lake, a beautiful creek, and a forest. Beautiful wildflowers like arnica and fireweed are scattered along the path. Moose, dear, and bears are common on the trail, so hikers are advised to carry bear spray. The surrounding forest is home to many birds like chickadee sandhill cranes and vesper sparrows. The Cracker Flats Horse Trail is accessible all year.
