The Coyote Loop Trail is 12 miles long and moderately trafficked. The trail, which is accessible throughout the year, offers various activity options such as walking, running, bird-watching, hiking, etc. Coyote Loop Trail is children friendly and also accommodates animals such as dogs and horses. Persons using wheelchairs or baby strollers can easily navigate the trail. Due to a previous forest fire, the first half of the trail is mostly open, with a few trees. The other part of the trail is made up of a dense forest that features beautiful wildflowers. The hike is rated as easy for hikers of all skill levels. The trail offers amenities such as bathrooms and drinking water.
