The Coyote Creek Trail is a 3.4-mile, out-and-back trail found within the Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park near Bellevue. A moderately trafficked trail, the Coyote Creek Trail is mostly used for hiking, walking, bird watching and nature walks. Accessible throughout the year, the Coyote Creek Trail is the perfect destination for nature lovers, families with children and inexperienced hikers. Woodpeckers are quite common on the trail, as well as black walnut and live oak. While dogs are allowed on the Coyote Creek Trail, they should always be kept on leash. Hikers are advised to always carry their own water when visiting the trail.
