The Clackamas Mountain is a 10-mile, loop trail located within the Okanogan Highlands, Eastern Washington. Accessible throughout the year, this trail is mostly used for running, walking, bird viewing and hiking. Douglas fir and ponderosa pines are quite common on the Clackamas Mountain Trail. Hikers can spot a variety of wild animals such as lynx, wolverine and grey wild. From the highest sections of the Clackamas Mountain Trail, hikers will get to enjoy panoramic views of the Fir Mountain. Spring is the best time to hike on the Clackamas Mountain trail. While dogs can access the trail, they should always be on a leash. Hikers should always carry plenty of drinking water.
