The Chittenden Loop Trail is an intermediate, 5.3-mile loop trail with an elevation of 320 feet and is best used during winter. Kids are not allowed on the Chittenden Trail, it is only recommended for advanced skiers due to steep terrain. Dog pets are not allowed but service dogs allowed with backcountry access permit. It is important to note that Bison and elk are frequent on the trail, so keep the recommended distance.
