Located in Bellingham, the 6.5-miles long Chain Lakes Loop trail is one of the most beautiful trails you will come across in Washington State. The loop hike is at its best from June to October before it starts snowing. Hikers can even hike on this stunning trail with their dogs provided they are on a leash. The Chain Lakes Loop provides a beautiful view of Mount Shuksan, Mount Baker, and Mount Herman. Valleys, meadows, and lakes are scattered on the path creating a serene and calming experience. If you know how to swim, you can take a dip at Lake Hayes, Mazama Lake, and Lake Iceberg.
