Located within the San Juan Island Historical Park near Friday Harbor, the Cattle Point Trail is a 0.6 mile, moderately trafficked, out-and-back trail. Rated easy, the Cattle Point Trail is suitable for children and inexperienced hikers. This trail is mainly used from April to October for hiking, walking, nature walks and bird viewing. After passing through the pine trees, from the highest point of the Cattle Point Trail, hikers will enjoy scenic views of Puget Islands, San Juan Islands, Mount Baker and Mount Rainier. Leashed dogs are allowed on the trail. To access the Cattle Point Trail, hikers will have to obtain a Discover Pass.
