The Cannon trail is a 0.64-mile, out-and-back, heavily trafficked route that connects the Wildwood Trail to Leif Erickson road. It is an easy ambling trail that is kid-friendly and suitable for nature trips, hiking and bird watching. Dogs on leash are allowed. The surface of this route is of compacted dirt and it has an elevation gain of 160 feet and rated moderately challenging hence important to carry water. Cannon trail is accessed year round but best for hiking between the months of March to October.
