Nestled within the Issaquah Alps, the Boot Trail is a highly trafficked, 4.5-mile, loop trail. Hikers, mountain bike riders, and horseback riders can all access Boot Trail year-round. Because of its gradual terrain, the Boot Trail is the perfect destination for children and inexperienced hikers. While hiking on the Boot Trail, hikers have the opportunity of encountering a variety of native plant species such as mushrooms and wildflowers, as well as a number of wild animals such as cougars and black bears. While dogs can access the Boot Trail, they should always be on a leash.
