Nestled within the Puget Sound and Islands, the Blanchard Hill-Incline Alternate Trail is a 4.2-mile, loop trail. Rated moderate, the Blanchard Hill-Incline Alternate Trail is mainly used for nature walks, hiking, and bird watching. Accessible throughout the year, the trail is home to a variety of indigenous plants such as pine trees, thimbleberries, blackberries and grass. Hikers will be rewarded with amazing views of Lake Lizard, Lake Lily, Blanchard Hill, Oyster Dome and Chuckanut Mountain. Hikers pass through the Pacific Northwest Trail and the British Army Trail on their way to the Blanchard Hill-Incline Alternate Trail. Leashed dogs are permitted. A Discovery Pass is necessary to hike this trail.
