The Birch Trail is a lovely 0.44-mile, out-and-back, moderately trafficked path that provides access to Wild Wood Trail in Forest Park in Oregon. The trail is ideal for activities such as hiking, nature walking and its kids friendly, suitable for wheelchair users and dogs are allowed on leash. Found throughout the Birch Trail are unique features of wildlife especially wood peckers and bunnies, red alders, big leaf maples and Douglas fir. Hikers rate the route as moderate in terms of difficulty that is best accessed between the months of May to September. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own water.
