Beach West Ridge Trail is a short 1.8-mile, moderately trafficked, out-and-back trail located near Mt. Desert, Maine. This trail is accessible any time of the day year-round. With an elevation gain of 764 feet, the Beech West Ridge Trail is rated intermediate and kid-friendly. Dogs can also use the trail provided they are on leash. The trail is used for nature trips, bird watching, hiking, and running. The trail features beautiful wildflowers, forest, wildlife, and spectacular views at the summit. Be sure to bring fresh drinking water.
