Beach Mountain Loop Trail is 1.2-mile, heavily trafficked, loop trail located near Mount Desert, Acacia National Park, Maine. With an elevation gain of 347 feet, this trail is rated intermediate and is family- and kid-friendly. Dogs are also allowed on the Beach Mountain Loop Trail, provided they are on leash. This trail features incredible views of wildflowers, forest, and gorgeous views of nearby lakes/ocean from the summit. The Beach Mountain Loop Trail is used for hiking, bird watching, nature trips and walking. It’s accessible any time of the day, from spring through fall. There is no provision of fresh drinking water on the Beach Mountain Loop Trail, so hikers should bring their own.
