Located in the Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park near Renton, WA, the Bagley Seam trail is a 3.8-mile, out-and-back trail. A moderately trafficked trail, the Bagley Seam Trail is mostly used for walking, nature trips and bird watching. Since this is not a seasonal trail, the Bagley Seam Trail is available all year round. Because of its gradual terrain, the Bagley Seam Trail is suitable for both children and inexperienced hikers. On top of that, the Bagley Seam Trail is the perfect destination for anyone who wants to learn more about the history of coal mining and the Bagley Seam coal vein. While dogs can access the trail, they must always be kept on leash. Hikers should not forget to always carry their own water as there is no potable water on this trail.
