Port Gamble Heritage Park, located in Kitsap County, is a public park consisting of approximately 3,400 acres. The park property includes forests, recreational trails, shorelines, streams, and wetlands. The park protects one of the largest lowland and forests remaining in west Puget Sound. It provides a great habitat for bears, salmons, birds and other wildlife. The forest also protects the waters of the magnificent Port Gamble Bay and contains an open space cherished for outdoor recreation all through the year. The trails are popular amongst mountain bikers, trail runners, equestrians and hikers.
